Flowers and a Clock

Last night, two sweet girls from the ward came by with this arrangement of white roses. I took a picture of them this morning-they are a little brown, but unless you look close, you can't really tell. I was already in bed when they came by, so I'm not sure where the roses came from or if they arranged them or not, but they sure make me happy! They probably smell good too, but I can't tell because I'm still all stuffed up!



Last weekend while the boys were at the priesthood session of Conference, I went with Brad's sisters and Mom to Real Deals in Salt Lake. They have all sorts of home decor, and I fell in love with this clock. Well, Brad's mom knew that I liked it, so she bought it and gave it to us this weekend. It goes perfectly in our kitchen right above the table. Thank you!

We got to spend some time with Bryon this afternoon. Ashlyn just loves him and it has been so good to see her so happy after a week of feeling sick and yucky. This cute picture is of her wearing his hat-she put it on herself, of course.

Get Well Soon

You know your child isn't feeling well when they take naps that are twice as long as normal and spend their free time lying on the floor. Bless her heart!

FHE Hike

We decided that for Family Home Evening we would take a family hike up to the Y. Well, although it was a beautiful day and we were enjoying each other's company, we didn't make it very far. Brad had the flu last week and it has turned into a chest cold and Ashlyn and I have both picked up colds as well. By the time we got maybe 1/4th of the way up the trail, we were all done in. It was nice while it lasted though. Maybe we'll make it up next year.

A Great Weekend

We've had an enjoyable weekend with Lorie in town. It has been fun to spend time with her, Michael and Bryon. Also, this afternoon, there was a get-together at Grandma Buttle's house with Daniel, Becky, and Sandy. Family is the best. There is a cute picture that Brad took of Ashlyn with Bryon, Lorie and Michael, but while I was trying to fix the redeye, I messed it up. Brad might try to fix it in photoshop or something, so maybe I'll post it later. Sorry!
