The Playground

The weather lately has been absolutely gorgeous, so we decided to take a wagon ride to the playground. There were some "big kids" that Ashlyn enjoyed following, and I think that's why she is climbing up the steps to the slide. You'll notice that she is wearing her Halloween headband again. I actually bought it on Thursday at Gardner Village and decided that she would have to wear it everyday until Halloween to make it worth it! So far she has!

Lorie's Visit

It sure was fun seeing Lorie this weekend! She came down to celebrate Michael's 19th birthday, and while she was here she babysat for us, passed out fliers for us, went on a hike, went to a soccer game, went to a volleyball game, and played Finnish floor hockey! Ashlyn always loves having her around and so do we! Lorie took these two pictures of Ashlyn just before she left.

Gardner Village 06

Last year at about this time, we went to Gardner Village with Brad's sisters and Mom and the cousins. Ashlyn was a bit tinier then, so I thought I would share two pictures. I know this is cliche, but I really can't believe how time flies!

Gardner Village

Today Ashlyn and I went to Gardner Village with Tiffany and Kyle. I forgot my stroller, so Ashlyn got carried all through the shops, but she was a pretty good sport. Some times she just had to get down, and she would wander around for a bit before I snatched her up again. There were cute witches and hay bales and pumpkins all around, so I tried to take Ashlyn's picture in several different places, but I just couldn't get her to look at me!




In one spot there were these carriage-like things with pumpkins inside. While Kyle was napping, I tried to get some good shots of Ashlyn in one of the carriages. Once again, I could not get her to look at me! I do, however, love the picture of her with her arms around the pumpkin!





When Kyle woke up from his nap, we took them back to the carriages for more photos. Ashlyn just loved sitting by Kyle! Aren't they cute?

Quick Pics

Grandma has taken quite a few pictures during her visit. The first two are of Ashlyn going through the cupboards. I think she was getting out the dishes to set the table for dinner. She's such a good helper!




Mom drove up with Michael and Bryon to visit Lorie in Rexburg, Idaho. They enjoyed seeing her and meeting her roommates!



Ashlyn loved being on Grandma's shoulders. She was smiling the biggest right after the camera's flash went off!



Grandma Buttle came by for a visit this afternoon, so we decided to take a four generation picture.

Where's the Cell Phone?

Yesterday afternoon, while Mom and I were busy with projects, Ashlyn was playing with my cell phone. I forgot she had it until I needed to use it, but then I couldn't find it anywhere. So, Mom called it while I walked around the house listening for the ring. It might have been a while before I found it on my own, because it had ended up in Ashlyn's toy gumball machine! Can you tell from the picture?
