New Car Seat

Ashlyn was getting a little too big for the infant car seat, so we had to order a bigger one. It arrived in the mail yesterday, and this morning Brad put it together and installed it in the car. This is a shot of Ashlyn trying it out before it was put in the car. She seems happy in it, doesn't she?

Fun with Friends

It sure has been a fun day. First of all, Ashlyn and I got to drive up to Ogden with the Miskins to visit our friend Heather. It was fun to see her (I think it has been 2 1/2 years since we last got together) and her cute little home. Aftewards, we had a chance to hang out with friends who were in town for a wedding. So much fun visiting! I took some pictures of the Ogden trip, but they turned out pretty awful-there was nothing wrong with the people in them, I'm just not a great photographer. I've decided to post just one. I don't have any idea what the kids were looking at . . . anything but the camera.

A Day in the Life

What do you think? Are those jeans a little long? They fit her around the waist! The second picture is of her trying to type with me. She can reach the keyboard now, so she is always coming over and pushing buttons. So cute. The third picture is of her waving. It kind of looks like she is pointing. What a big girl!

She's at it Again

What can I say? She's always trying something new.

Piano

My Grandma Buttle buys pianos for her grandchildren once they are married and settled, and she recently bought this one for us. It is over 60 years old, but seems to be in good condition. We are having it tuned, and hopefully that will not be an impossible task (it hasn't been tuned recently). Nonetheless, we are so thankful to have a piano in our home. You're the best Grandma!

9 Months Old

Today, Ashlyn is 9 months old. It feels like 9 years ago that she was born. I really can't remember her not being a part of our lives. She is such an angel. These are pictures of Ashlyn at the park today, except for the last one, which is her asleep in her carseat. What a doll!

The Third Tooth

If you look very closely, you can see Ashlyn's third tooth starting to come in. She still doesn't have any top teeth, so we think it's a little odd that she is getting yet another bottom tooth. I know you can't see her teeth at all in the second picture, but her expression was so funny. I can imagine that she was thinking, "You're weird mommy."
